4006 Dragonfly Shade 750 Bisque Primer, 711 Sapphire, 714 Teal, 713 Primrose, 718 Amber, 700 White, 707 Evergreen, 902 Black, 763 Antique Media, 761 Perfect Matte Spray Basecoat entire shade 750 Bisque Primer Mix 711 Sapphire 1:2 with 700 White. Apply this mixture to the entire shade and wipe back with 763 Antique Media and a soft paper towel. Using a large Intense Translucent brush drybrush the Sapphire/White mixture randomly on the shade. Mix 714 Teal 1:2 with 700 White. Drybrush this mixture onto random areas of the shade. Lightly drybrush 713 Primrose to random lower areas of the shade. wipe back the wings with a moistened soft paper towel. If necessary brighten the wings by drybrushing a small amount of 700 White to the wings. To shade wings, apply a tiny amount of the Sapphire/White mixture to the wing area near the body and pull the out using a clean brush. Mix 707 Evergreen 1: 1 with 972 Silver and apply this mixture to the dragonfly bodies. Spray the entire shade in a ventilated areas with 761 Perfect Matte Spray. Allow the spray to dry and use detail brushes to paint grass leaves behind the dragonflies using 718 Amber and a mixture of 707 Evergreen and 700 White (1:2) (see picture for placement). Paint the dragonfly eyes 902 Black. Spray the shade again in a well ventilated area with 763 Perfect Matte spray. Spraying before you try the grass brush strokes is helpful because you may need to remove undesirable brush strokes before you achieve the desired effect. The spray preserves the background area so you can wipe the erroneous brush strokes off without having to re-do the background. 3278 Stone Base: Basecoat base with 750 Bisque Primer. Antique entire base with 718 Amber. Wipe back base with 763 Antique Media in a soft paper towel. Using Intense Translucent brushes loaded very conservatively with color, apply small amounts 714 Teal, 712 Amethyst independently and to random rock areas. Wipe back these colors to desired translucency. Lightly apply 707 Evergreen to moss areas and wipe back to desired translucency. In a well ventilated area spray with 761 Perfect Matte Spray.
